He created his original company, HBS National Corporation, on a part-time basis in 1979 with $1,000. Focusing on janitorial services, Jason built up a company with sales of $14 million by 1998. Beginning with janitorial services, he expanded his company to offer a growing range of facility management services. In 1993 HBS National Corporation was recognized as the largest minority-owned business in the Houston area based on publication by the Houston Business Journal. Today HBS National Corporation has expanded to three states and more than 350 employees.
